Obituary
Henry Marshall Douglas was born on July 23, 1914 in Pattison, MS to the late 
Lillie Woodson Douglas and Henry Douglas.

He departed this life on July 12, 2006 in Detroit, MI.

He received his grade school education from Bannerburn Grade School in 
Pattison, MS.

He migrated to Vicksburg at the age of 14. He married his first wife, Minnie 
in 1937 in Vicksburg, MS.  She preceded him in death.  No children were born 
of this union.

He moved to Chicago, IL in 1942, met and married his second wife, Beatrice, 
who also preceded him in death.

In 1953, he found employment with General Motors at the Chevrolet Gear and 
Axle plant working on the assembly line.  He retired from GM after 25 years of 
service.

On November 24, 1977, he was united in marriage to his third wife, Betty Boyd, 
who preceded him in death.



Henry ahd one daughter, Gail, who preceded him in death.

His remains were entrusted to Risko-Ferguson Funeral and Cremation Service in 
Detroit, MI.
