The Port-Gibson correspondent, and Mississippi general advertiser. (Port Gibson, Miss.) 1824-1833: July 02, 1831
Died, in this place, on yesterday morning, after a short illness, James Nugent,
about 23 years of age, and a native of Ireland. The mild and unassuming deportment
of the deceased, and the irreproachable course of his conduct, during a residence of
nearly two years amongst us, were well calculated to draw forth, and did receive,
the last kind offices of friendship...
