This file was contributed and copyrighted by: Wanda Horton ================================================================================ September 2004 Located on the Warren Hood Reserve, approximately ¾ mile north of Hennebery Road, which runs into Barlow Road in western Copiah County. Access is by a private road that is very deteriorated. Visited in the early 1980's with Lonnie Wilson, who referred to it as the Bethany Cemetery, and in February 2001 with Woodrow Dixon, who referred to it as the McCrory Cemetery. There are many unmarked graves, maybe as many as 30 or more. One of the unmarked graves is that of: Mary Adeline Thedford Cooper B. 1844 D. 1884 (date from an obituary) NOTE: * indicates stones that were noted in the 1980's visit, but not in the 2001 visit. Several large trees have fallen in the cemetery, at least partially burying some headstones, and perhaps completely burying others. There may have been more extensive information on the Wheeler and Hundley headstones, but my notes from that visit were sketchy.
