                        MARRIAGE BOND
                   THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI
                        DESOTO COUNTY
Know All Men by these Presents, That we George Bell as Principal,and John 
Garrett.. as Security, are held and firmly bound unto the State of 
Mississippi, in the sum of Two Hundred Dollars, payment of which well and 
truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and assigns, firmly 
by these presents, Given under my hands and seals, this 5th day of January 
A.D. , 1870

Additional Comments:
The marriage bond form includes space for a minister to sign and date the form 
to indicate that Rites of Matrimony were performed between George Bell and 
Mollie Young. That space was left blank.
