W. F. (Buddy) Sirman, the Rev. Eddie King and the Rev. Van Windom officiating. Burial will be in Roxie Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Bonds was born Nov. 7, 1943, in Natchez, the daughter of Lonnie B. and Ida Aldridge Farr. Martha completed 25 years as an elementary teacher, most recently at Franklin County Upper Elementary. She was a talented musician having served many churches as organist, pianist and soloist. She graduated from Copiah-Lincoln Community College where among other honors she was elected "Most Beautiful". She was also an honor graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. Mrs. Bonds was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Bertis Bonds; and a brother, L. B. Farr, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Howard T. Bonds of Fayette; sons, Michael Farr Bonds and Matthew James Bonds of Acworth (Atlanta) GA; step-children, Sydnett McNeese and husband, Tony of Bogue Chitto and Caleb Bonds and wife, Heather of Bogue Chitto; brother, Douglas Farr and wife, Emma of Roxie; sister, Barbara Duck and husband, Albert of Natchez; sisters-in-law, Louise Farr of Roxie, Elaine Rivera and husband, Greg of Raleigh, N.C. and Ann Neal of Arlington, TX; grandchilren, Luke Ferrell, Caley Beth Bonds and Molly Grace Bonds; niece, Alisa House; nephews, Danny, Greg, Steven, Mark and David Farr. Pallbearers will be Maurice Gaskin, Frank Spillman, Bomar McGehee, Tony McNeese, Caleb Bonds and Frank House.
