Carl Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home. Visitation is from 12 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Marshall was born August 10, 1909, in Hamburg, the son of John Marshall and Hattie James Marshall. He was retired from the sawmill, was a member of the U.S. Army and was a deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sarah Marshall; three brothers, Jim Anderson, A.C. Marshall and Addis Marshall; two sisters, Vertis O'Gwin and Amanda Williams. Survivors include son, August Marshall; granddaughters, Andrea T. Marshall Johnson (Walter) of Dupo, Ill. and Ashley E. Marshall of Hamburg; great grandson, Jaylan Johnson of Dupo, Ill.; nieces, Roberta Dyer, Dorothy Thompson, Barbara Marshall and Alice Jones, all of Natchez; nephews, Louis Marshall of Alexandria, La., Addis Marshall Jr., John Marshall and Rick Marshall, all of Natchez; special sons, Lee Thomas of Alexandria, La. and Tommy Felton of Smokey Mountain, Ga.
