You will go 2.9 miles and take a left on Bexley Road South. There is no sign posted for this road, however it is the last left hand exit before you go under the railroad overpass. Now you will go 1.3 miles and make another left hand turn, this time onto Bexley Church road. Now go 2.2 miles and on your right will be a woods road with a large metal gate. You will have to park on the right hand side of the road bside this gate. When you are standing in front of the gate, look to your left and about 30 feet down the side of the road you will see some red flagging tape. This flagging marks a trail that will lead you to the Bush cemetery. There were only five headstones , three of which I could record information from. There were numerous metal temporary grave markers, but the paper name tags have long since deteriorated. These temporary metal markers, were covered with leaves and pine straw. I was asked by Mr. James Myles to help in finding and recording this old family cemetery. He had last been to the actual cemetery in 1959 at the last know burial, taht of his uncle Mr. Dan Bush. We were Joined by Mr. "Elmo" Polk in the search, Mr. Myles and Mr. Polk are cousins, and both had attended the funeral of Dan Bush. Mr. Myles joined the service and left the area, Mr. Polk moved to Florida. We enlisted the help of Mr. Roy Mizell and were able to locate the cemetery, it had been over 45 years since either of these men had seen it. Located in this cemetery is a small picket fence that surrounds two graves, both of these men remember seeing this fence as small boys riding the school bus on the road that runs near by the cemetery.
