Take highway 613 and go 8.9 miles, where you will come to the intersection with highway 612 on your left. Take this left hand turn and now go another 3.2 miles, and on the left will be the C.F. Ward Road. Take this left hand turn and go approximately 1/2 mile. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road in a large pasture, straight across the road from a rather large white house. The cemetery is on private property and once again you must get permission to visit the cemetery from the landowner. Jimmy Trussell walked the cemetery along with Read and Rebecca Stowe on the 21st of December 2008. Information was taken from headstone inscriptions. The cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence Last Name First Name Middle Name Birth Death Comment --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cox Earl Tennyson 04-17-1916 09-20-1981 US Navy, h/o Genevieve (Killcreas) Cox Cox Genevieve (Killcreas) 01-16-1917 05-06-1986 w/o Earl Tennyson Cox Hill Herman Payton 11-30-1935 11-13-1985 US Marine Corp., h/o Patricia Sue Killcreas infant 1906 1906 Killcreas Linnie Alma (Ward) 10-06-1877 03-29-1958 Mrs. Laura Young's Mother Killcreas Marie B. 05-05-1918 12-14-2003 w/o S. She has many very interesting stories to tell about those that are interred here. Cornelius and Jerusha Ward had nine children and Mrs. Young had something special to tell about them all, and we didn't leave out her children and their present day families, whom she is is very proud of.
