At this four way stop turn left onto highway 612, follow this road 4.0 miles. You will pass Union Missionary Baptist Church on your right. The road makes a sharp curve to the left in front of the church, after you make the curve there will be one house on your right, and then you will see a small dirt road to your right just past this house.Turn on this dirt road and about 200 feet in front of you there will be a small block of very dense woods. I was able to find only 5 graves that could be identified, there are numerous old wooden markers that the termites have long since removed any lettering from .There are also many sunk places that would indicate old grave sites. The cemetery is in very bad condition, really impossible to see parts of it.I was able to interview a decendent of John Mallet who was the original owner of this homestead and founder of this cemetery. Mrs. Barbara (Mallette)Eley, provided me with a partial list of others buried in this cemetery. This list of names and dates comes from family papers and court house records.I will note all those that I did not actually get the information from their headstones.Note the spelling change that took place in the last name, (Mallet to the current Mallette) Last Name First Name Middle Name Birth Death Comment -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mallette Samuel ??-??-1844 ??-??-1888 Co.
