You will go 3.1 miles and on your left will be Mixon Lake Road. Take this left hand turn and now go 1.4 miles where the road will "Y". You will take a right at the "Y", on Parker Cemetery Road. Now you will go another .8 tenths of a mile to the dead end of this road. You will be in the driveway of a private home. Jimmy Trussell got permission from the homeowner to walk the cemetery. There was a chain link fence around the cemetery, which is in need of a good cleanup. This homeowner told me of one grave that is located outside the fenced in area to the left side of the cemetery. As you will see this burial on the outside of the fence took place 73 years after the last known burial inside the fence. I was unable to establish ownership of this cemetery, the last know burial in it was in 1929. All information was taken from headstone inscriptions, one of which was a Civil War Veteran.
