Abstracted By: Jimmy Trussell

  Travel west out of Lucedale, Mississippi on highway 198, 
you will come to an intersection wih highway 98. Take a 
left onto highway 98 (going west), and you will go a couple 
of miles. Here you will see a small store on your right 
(Carolyn's Grocery), directly across the highway from this 
grocery store will be Bexley Road South. Turn left on this 
road and go .4 tenths of a mile and St. James Church and 
cemetery will be on your right, up a small hill. The 
cemetery is surrounded by a chain link fence, it is owned 
and upkeep is provided by this church. There were several 
unmarked graves in the cemetery. Jimmy Trussell walked the 
cemetery on the 22nd of December 2007, information was 
taken from all legible temporary grave markers and 
headstone inscriptions.
