BIRTH INFORMATION: RESIDENTS OF THIS COUNTY IN 1917-18 AND PERSONS WITH LINKS TO THIS COUNTY The information below was abstracted from by Raymond H. Banks from civilian registration cards completed in 1917-1918. All rights reserved. Some men do not have birth locations listed because they registered on the final draft registration day in 1918 when this information was not recorded. Almost 24 million men registered for the draft -- not always in the county of residence. CAUTION: Middle Eastern and East European national boundaries and country names were quite different than those seen on today's maps. Microfilm copies of the original cards are maintained by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints (LDS...the Mormons)..Researchers can probably order loaner copies of specific reels from Salt Lake City through requests at local LDS family history centers. Payment for mailing costs is required. Catalog subject heading: UNITED STATES -- MILITARY RECORDS -- WORLD WAR I [although these records are not actually military records] Original cards are kept at the National Archives branch near Atlanta, Georgia. The compiler has not abstracted the registrant's address the name and address of next of kin, occupation, work address, general physical description and occasionally listed general description of a disability. Please consult the original card to verify all information. 1ST COLUMN: NAME 2ND COLUMN: BIRTH DATE 3RD COLUMN: ETHNIC GROUP 4TH COLUMN: BIRTH LOCATION OR OTHER INFO (spelling unreliable) OTHER COLUMNS: LOCATION OF REGISTRATION Cain, Clarence Oliver 14 Nov 1875 W George MS Callahan, Columbus Napoleon 30 Jul 1879 W George MS Cannon, James Agustus 12 Oct 1879 W George MS Cannon, John Thomas 13 Sep 1886 W Deer Park AL George MS Capers, Allen Monroe 4 Jun 1885 W George MS Carnley, Hyrum West 10 Mar 1899 W George MS Carnley, John Robert 23 Apr 1891 W Westville FL George MS Carnley, Lewis Abbie 27 Jan 1894 W Westville FL George MS Carnley, Thomas Luther 19 May 1886 W George MS Carnley, William Joseph 22 Mar 1889 W Westville FL George MS Carter, Greg 12 Oct 1899 B George MS Carter, John Reuben 27 Jan 1885 W George MS Carter, Knox 6 Jun 1892 W Basin MS George MS Carter, Lorenzo Byron 12 Nov 1885 W George MS Carter, Percy Gates 18 Jun 1882 W relative lives London England George MS Carter, Thomas West 19 Sep 1885 W George MS Catlett, Joe M. 26 Jun 1894 W York AL George MS Chaney, Matthew 16 Jan 1879 B George MS Childress, Lyman Randall 11 Sep 1900 W George MS Childress, Moses Ripley 12 Nov 1872 W George MS Christian, Robert Eward 6 Apr 1874 W George MS Churchwell, Huil 6 Jun 1879 W George MS Clark, Andrew 5 Apr 1894 B Merrill MS George MS Cochran, Albert 5 May 1896 W Crossroads MS George MS Cochran, Dewey Romey 4 Jul 1898 W George MS Cochran, Eugene H. 20 Jan 1894 W Crossroads MS George MS Cochran, George 25 Jan 1883 W George MS Cochran, Henry Alexander 5 Jul 1893 W Crossroads MS George MS Cochran, Homer Ratlieff 31 Aug 1898 W George MS Cochran, John Lewis 20 Oct 1883 W George MS Cochran, John Rufus 23 Apr 1876 W George MS Cochran, Julian James 20 Jan 1884 W George MS Cochran, Lee Roy 1 Dec 1898 W George MS Cochran, Lyman Alexander 3 Feb 1878 W George MS Cochran, Oscar O. 4 Jul 1896 W Crossroads MS George MS Cochran, Rainer Ervin 14 Jul 1882 W George MS Cochran, Walter 2 Oct 1895 W Crossroads MS George MS Cochran, William Lyman 18 Mar 1873 W relative lives Leaf MS George MS Cochran, William Wesley 28 Sep 1888 W Mississippi George MS Cockroft, Joseph Leeson 13 Aug 1875 W George MS Coleman, Porter 1 Mar 1880 B George MS Colville, John Anderson 15 Nov 1895 W Glenville GA George MS Colville, Thomas Allen 21 Jun 1877 W George MS Cooley, James Washington 22 Oct 1897 W George MS Cooley, John 24 Mar 1894 W Merrill MS Greene MS Cooley, Jule 17 Jun 1887 W Merrill MS Greene MS Cooley, Kirt 13 Aug 1889 W Merrill MS Greene MS Cooley, Ramie L. 30 Jun 1884 W George MS Cooley, Rufus 12 May 1895 B Boyce MS George MS Cooper, Arelias Paracleat (Areias) 15 May 1882 W George MS Cooper, Elijah 15 Sep 1886 W lives in Daisy MS George MS Cooper, John Abram 10 Jul 1890 W Benndale MS George MS Cooper, Major Eli 4 Apr 1893 W Benndale MS Stone MS Cooper, Thomas Lee 2 Oct 1887 W Benndale MS George MS Cooper, Will 1 Mar 1892 B Montgomery AL George MS Corsey, Johnie 25 Jun 1897 B he & dad b.
