BONEY" "Adolph J. Boney, 72, Route 1, Box 472, N. Biloxi, was found dead in a skiff adrift in the Bay of Biloxi Friday afternoon. A coroner's jury found that the death was from natural causes. Harrison County constable John Gill said that Boney died about 3:15 p.m. Shortly after that time, Gill said, the skiff was sighted between Goat Island and Bay Shore Drive, d'Iberville, by Captain O. L. David and Frank T. Miller, of the bait-catching boat 'Ronda'. They towed the boat to shore. Gill said that Boney had been seen rowing his skiff against the wind and the tide about 2:30 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Victoria Boney, two daughters, Mrs. Irene Quave and Mrs. Alice Fountain, three sons, Frank, Warren and Chester Boney, a brother, Arthur, a sister, Miss Gladys Boney, and seven grandchildren, all of North Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Sunday with services by the Rev. Patrick McAlpine at Sacred Heart' Catholic Church in N. Biloxi. Interment will be in the Moran Cemetery. The body was taken to the O'Keefe Funeral home where Justice of the Peace Anthony Anglado, acitng coroner, conducted the inquest. Constable Gill was the balif and jurors were Arthur T. Morrison, Houston Pettis, Stanley Krysti, Arnold J. Barras, Jim Lund and Rayford McMilland. Boney had been a fisherman and was a retired supply inspector. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday from the home with services at Sacred Heart Church by the Rev. Patrick McAlpine. Interment will be in Moran Cemetery.
