James R. Creel, aged 79 years, a native of Jones County,MS and a resident of 
Biloxi for twenty two years, died last night after a brief illness. The 
deceased leaves two sons and two daughters and a number of other relatives. The 
funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of 
his daughter Mrs. Jerome Ryan, 416 East Water Street.

Additional Comments:
[note] James R. Creel was the son of John Creel 1802-1860s and Kizziah Dearman 
and a brother to my John Creel 1826-1875, husband of Hannah Rainwater. John 
Calvin Creel was the son of James R. Creel 1831 and Pricillia Page Creel, my 
Aunt Ethel called them Uncle Jim and Aunt Prissey.
