July 31 1919
James Albert Creel, a native of Jones County, Mississippi, and a resident of 
Biloxi for thirty five years, died at the home of his sister yesterday morning 
at 11: O'clock. Deceased by a number of relatives. The funeral was held this 
afternoon at 4 O'clock from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Jerome Ryan, 416 
East Water Street. Services were conducted under the auspices of the Baptist 
Church and interment was in the Biloxi Cemetery.
