Lemon W. "Polk" Creel,73, of Biloxi died Sunday, July 10, 2005 in Gulfport.
Mr. Creel was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He retired from the Biloxi Police 
Department as a Captain after 21 years of service. He was also a commercial 
fisherman. Mr. Creel was preceded in death by his wife Anastasia (Delahousey) 
Creel; his mother and step-father, Effie D. and Hezzie B. Polk; his father, 
Fletcher Creel; two step-sisters, Catherine Polk and Eva Jewel Nobles; three 
step-brothers, Clyde Polk, Cassie Polk and Curtis Polk. Interment will follow 
in Biloxi National Cemetery with full Police Honors.
