Mrs. Sabra M. Creel, wife of Rev. William R. Creel, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs G.R. Hilton, 919 Caillavet St, this morning at 8:15 following a 
long illness. She was 71 years old, a native of Calcasieu Parish, La, and a 
resident of Biloxi for 36 years. She was a devout member of the Baptist Church. 
Besides her husband, she leaves seven daughters, Mrs. Thomas Allen, of Long 
Beach, Mrs. I. R. Hudson, Layette, La, Mrs. J. W. Sprinkle, Dauphin Island, 
Ala, Mrs. J.A. Skinner, Mrs. Elisha Miller, Mrs. Eugene Summerlin and Mrs. 
Hilton all of Biloxi. 45 grandchildren; 57 great-grand children; one sister 
Mrs. H. E. Hall, Nederland, TX, and a brother John A. Whittington of Burkville, 
TX. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, with services at 
home Second Baptist Church and the grave in the Biloxi Cemetery by Rev. A. G. 
Mosley.
