Funeral takes place Saturday

Aged Hattiesburgian dies today shortly after noon, survived by wife and five 
children.

James Edward Creel, age 68, died this afternoon at 12:30 pm at his home, 114 
Edna St. Mr. Creel was one of the best known citizens of Hattiesburg.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning from the family residence. 
Rev. W. N. Yarborough of ? will be officiating.Interment will be in Hickory 
Grove Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Blance Callahan Creel; four sons, A.H., 
W.R, J.W. and C.A. Creel, all of this city; one daughter, Mrs. L.K. 
Blackburn; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. (Samantha) Hudson and Nancy Jane Spooner 
of Long Beach, Miss. and one brother, William Ranson Creel, Biloxi, Miss.
