"Elmerita Diaz, 82, died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in D'Iberville."

"Mrs. Diaz was a native of the D'Iberville Community and was a member of Sacred
Heart Catholic Church of which she was a member of the Legion of Mary for 15 years.
She was employed for many years by the Prescription Center and Sacred Heart
Elementary School where she worked in the cafeteria.She was preceded in death by her
husband, Oliver F. Diaz; her mother, Agnes Boney Seymour; and her father, Earnest
Moran. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville on
Friday, May 5, 2000, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. with a Mass being said at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the Moran Family Cemetery in D'Iberville."

Additional Comments:
Elmerita was the daughter of Ernest Alton Moran (1884-1919) and Mary Agnes Boney
Moran Seymour (1893-1979).  She married Oliver Francis Diaz on 20 October 1936
(Harrison Co. Marriage License Records, District 1, Book 47, page 309).

NOTE:  The survivor section of the obituary is omitted due to most of those listed
are still living as of this submission.
