Gorenflo Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilred J. Gorenflo S., 1425 Cemetery St., Biloxi, died about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday after his automobile crashed into a parked truck near Prentiss. Gorenflo was enroute from Prentiss to Green Springs, about 16 miles away, to visit his fiance, Miss Hazel Dyees and he apparently didn't see the truck which was reportedly parked on the side of the highway. An aunt and uncle of his fiance were driving ahead of Gorenflo and moved him from the car shortly before it caught fire. He was alone at the time of the accident. Gorenflo and Miss Dyees were to married on March 17. A native Biloxian, he had been residing in Prentiss a year and a half as plant administrator to Edward Hyman Co., manufacturer of work clothing in Prentiss. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and Mississippi State University, where he received a degree in industrial management. Gorenflo had been active in the DeMolay fraternity, having received the degree of Chevalier and was a member of Signa Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was also a member of the Biloxi Yacht Club and the First Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Bradford-O''Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park. Services will be by the Rev. W. F. Whaley."
