Biloxi Daily Herald on 9 Jan 1962
"Stephen G. Gorenflo, 54, native of Biloxi and resident of Ocean Springs, died at
8:30 a.m. today at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He had been in poor health about
two years. He is survived by his wife, the former Nita Covacevich; three brothers.
William Gorenflo, Popps Ferry; Wilfred and Louis Gorenflo. Biloxi; and a sister,
Mrs. Lewis Curtis, Jr., Biloxi. Mr. Gorenflo was with Kremer Supply Co., Gulfport,
and was employed at Keesler Air Force Base. Mr. Gorenflo was a graduate of Biloxi
High School where he was on the football team. He later attended Perkinston Junior
College. He formerly was chief inspector of supplies and disbursement at Keesler
from 1941 to 1956. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Ocean Springs.
The body is at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete."
