Mrs. J. D. Hudson, 65, died Saturday at 5 pm at her home at 324 Maple St, after 
an illness of about a month. She was a native of Handsboro and had resided here 
virtually all her life. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church: She 
leaves her husband, a daughter, Mrs. John Lewis Sr, four sons Bennie Powell, 
Harvey, La: James Powell, Biloxi and Otto Murrell, Biloxi and Martin Hudson, 
Biloxi: a brother Rev. Wm Creel: a sister Nancy Spooner of Long Beach: 26 grand 
children and six great grandchildren a number of nieces and nephews. The 
funeral was held this afternoon at 2 pm from home and Second Baptist Church by 
Rev. E. S. Flynt, pastor.

Murrell and Buddy Hudson
