Biloxi Weekly Herald on 11 Oct 1890
"Captain Thomas F. Nelson, an old and respected citizen of this place, died last 
Tuesday night of heart disease.  He had been in ill health for some time and his 
death was not unexpected.  He was a Dane by birth and at the time of his death, 
was 74 years of age.  His remains were interred in the cemetery here Wednesday 
with Masonic honors."

Additional Comments:
Thomas Nelson was born in 1816 and per his tombstone,  was a native of Norway.
