Grant C. Rickard Sr., 71, of Gulfport died Tuesday, June 2, 1987, in Gulfport.
Mr. Rickard was retired director of sales and marketing for Copolymer Rubber and
Chemical Co. in Baton Rouge. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamie Dell Rickard of Gulfport; a son, Grant C.
Rickard Jr. of New Albany, Ind.; two stepsons, Charles Hutchins of Baton Rouge,
La., and Joe Frank Hutchins of Prentiss; a sister, Mrs. Helen Gallo of Apolla,
Pa.; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at
Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport, where friends may call an hour before
service time. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Green Oaks Memorial Park in Baton
Rouge. The family requests memorials to the Renovation Fund of First United
Methodist Church in Gulfport.
