He was a native of the settlement across the Bay where his fore parents are among the early settlers. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock tomorrow from the late residence and interment will be made at the Quave Cemetery across the Back Bay". Additional Comments: "Gussie was the son Pliney Seymour (1852-1902) and Melinda Quave Seymour (1855-1896). Per Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral records Gussie died from pneumonia just three days before his cousin Alphonsine, aged 16, died of the same malady. He is not buried in the Biloxi Cemetery as indicated in the obiuary but actually in Quave Cemetery in d'Iberville.
