The subject of the above notice was a native of Biloxi, and a young man of most exemplary character. Gentile in his nature, he was kind and amiable to all his neighbors and acquaintances, and was ever a welcome guest at the fireside of his neighbors. Peace to his remains." Additional Comments: Peter's birth name was "Pierre". He was the son of Lazarus Seymour (1816-1902 and his second wife, Martha Elizabeth Fayard Seymour (1836-1909).
