Mrs. Hannah Waters, a resident of Horn Island, died this morning at 9  
o'clock of cancer. Mrs. Waters has been a resident of Horn Island for 65 
years. She was born near Pearlington, Miss., in 1819 and leaves one son and 
one daughter.  Mrs .H. Aken of Deer Island. The funeral will take place this 
evening at 4 O'clock. Interment on Deer Island.  
 


Additional Comments:
Note: Years later, she was removed to Biloxi Cemetery, on the  mainland,  by 
her great-grand children, Ralph Baker and family.
