Rev. Father Alphonse Kettels, officiating. The church was crowded with the friends of the contracting parties and was decorated with flowers and ablaze with lights. Oswell Mauffray of Bay St. Louis acted as best man and the bride's sister, Miss Anita Caillavet, as maid of honor. Fred Abbley and Miss Viola Caillavet, acted as groomsman and bridesmaid and Hilda Caillavet was the ring bearer. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will leave for Buras, La, on the evening train where they will remain until an extensive contract, which Mr. Thompson with his brother Mr. O. E. Thompson, has at that place, is completed. The bride is the daughter of Capt. and Mrs. F. A. Caillavet of this city. She was reared and educated in Biloxi and for eight years has been organist at the Catholic church".
