Slave Deed - Lucy Received of Robert D. Wade a note drawn by W. W. Hall dated 21st. April, 1838 & payable the 1st. day of March 1839 for Two Hundred Dollars & also One hundred Dollars in cash it bring infull for the purchase money for a certain negro woman named Lucy aged about thirty five years the right & Title I warrant but do not warrant any soundness whatever as I sell her as being unsound & said knows has examined her to his satisfaction & Takes her as he finds her Witness my hand & Seal this 9th.
