Battle Of Baker's Creek

Following is the experience of J.R.
Reese, an officer in the union army
and captain of the company which
took the Confederate battery as de-
scribed by Dr. Moor in a recent issue
of this paper.  The narrative is an
extract from a letter written by Mr.
Reese to Dr. Moor and will be inter-
esting to old soldiers especially those
who participated in the battle.
