HINDS COUNTY GAZETTE unknown

Bishop Hugh Miller Thompson was in town Tuesday and at night preached 
one of his accustomed strong and forcible sermons in St.Mark's Church to a 
large and appreciative congregation, afterwards administering the right of 
confirmation to four applicants. He was assisted in the service by Rev. Frank 
Hallum, Rector of St. Andrew's Church, Jackson, and the worthy pastor of St. 
Mark's Church, Raymond, Rev. W.H. Capers.
