The Champion Hill Reunion
1890
Reference is made in another column to a barbecue which the people of Hinds 
county will tender the veterans who wore the Blue and the Gray during the late 
unhappy conflict between the States, and who propose making a pilgrimage to 
the historic scene of the Champion Hill fight on Thursday, the 29th, inst.
