Hinds County Gazette 1860

NEW GOODS
I am just receiving an addition to my stock of 
Groceries, consisting of Clarified Sugar, Sugar
House molasses, White Wine Vinegar, No.1 Mackerel,
Irish Potatoes, Onions, Superfine Flour, Star
Candles, Soda Crackers. etc.etc.
  On hand, clear Sides, Bacon,  Duffield Hams, dry
Beef, Green Tea, a good article: Rio and Java Coffee,
Dried Apples, Preserves, Pickles, nuts, Raisins,
powder and Shot, Boots, men’s, women’s, boys
and children’s shoes, very cheap; Cove Oysters,
Sardines, Worcester Sauce, Yeast’ Powders,
Tin ware, Painted Buckets, Crockery-ware – assorted;
Pipes and Smoking Tobacco (real Hyco), ditto in
pound bales, Chewing Tobacco, ( common and fine)
on consignment, to be sold at manufacturer’s prices
-freight added.
  Added to the above a small lot of Summer Clothing,
which will be sold at very reduced prices to
close out the lot bought at auction in April last.
  Store next door to Oak Tree Hotel.
