Hinds County Gazette January 1893

 Mr. W.D. Patton brought us on
Monday the tail of one of the largest
foxes caught by his dogs during the
present season.  He reports as the
result since January 1st. ten foxes and 
seven wild-cats.  He is at present
resting his dogs preparatory to 
visiting Terry, it being his determination
to show his friends there that foxes
and wild-cats abound in that 
neighborhood.
