 Hinds County Gazette 

  We greatly regret to announce
the death of Mrs. Kate Crisler, wife
of Mr. J. W. Crisler, of this vicinity,
which sad event occurred the night of 
the 30th ult., after a protracted illness.
She was an estimable lady, and
her death will be most sincerely 
lamented by all who enjoyed her
acquaintance.  She was a member of
the Raymond Methodist church—
lived the life of a truly Christian
woman—and died in the triumph of a
christian’s faith.
