Hinds County Gazette around 1889

A telegram was received Tuesday
announcing the death of Mrs. J.
N. Drane, the sad event having 
occurred at her home in Durant, Holmes
county.  Mrs. Drane was an aunt of
our fellow-townsman, Mr. J.D. Monroe,
and resided for many years in
this town.  She was a woman of
lovely character and a great favorite
in the circle of her acquaintances.
May God comfort the grief-stricken
husband.

1889.
