 Hinds County Gazette

  Mr. Collins W. Grafton, eldest
son of Maj. Thos. Grafton, late editor
of the Natchez Democrat, died Tuesday
evening near Adams Station, this
county, of pneumonia, aged 35 years.
Mr. Grafton will be kindly remembered
in this town, where he remained 
for several months during the survey
preceding  the  building of the
Little J. railroad, being attached to
the corps under Capt. Gloster.  To
his young wife, aged father, mother,
sister and other relatives, we tender 
heartfelt sympathies.
