Hinds County Gazette

Died, on the 23d inst., near Vicksburg,
Aaron Horn.  Born in the early
year of the century, near Huntsville,
Ala., this good old man had faithfully
served almost continuously the family
and descendants of his first owner,
and at his grave the great-grandchildren
and the great-great-grandchildren of
his old master scattered flowers and
shed tears in tender remembrance of
honest, faithful, kind-hearted
“Uncle Aaron.”—Vicksburg Herald.
