 Hinds County Gazette

We regret to announce the death
of Mrs. Catharine Miller, relic of the 
late Robt. Miller, which event occurred
at the residence of her son, Sheriff
Morrison, in this town, on the 9th
inst.  Mrs. Miller died in the 75th
year of her age—was a native of
Covington county, this State, and came
to the place where she has ever since
lived, six miles from Raymond, in 
1827, fifty-four years ago.  For fifty
years she was a member of the
Presbyterian church, and was ever 
esteemed by all who knew her for her 
sterling qualities of head and heart.
