Mrs. Pearl G. Morrison died early Sunday, January 9, at her residence in Utica.
 She was 72.  Mrs. Morrison was a livelong resident of Utica and was a member of
the Utica Baptist Church.  
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Ashley of Hazlehurst, and Mrs.
Myrna French of Natchez; five sons, Paul Morrison of Raymond, Doyle Morrison,
Jr. of Clinton, Wade Morrison of Jackson, Neal Morrison of Utica and Jimmy
Morrison of Hazlehurst; 17 grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren.  
Services were Tuesday, January 11, 1983, at 2 p.m. in the Utica Baptist Church,
with Rev. John Ed Snell, officiating.  Burial was in the Utica Cemetery.  
Grandsons served as pallbearers.     

Additional Comments:
Preceded in death were her parents John Lee Gray and Elizabeth Bromley, sisters;
Ollie Mae Gunter, Lovie Elizabeth Gunter, and Stella Viney Anders, and her
brothers;  Charley Edward Gray, Willie R. Gray, Handy Stigler Gray, Willis
Alexander Gray and Dale Homer Gray.
