ROBERTSON died at Weatherford, Texas, Oct. 30th. She had lived in Hinds County before Jackson was incorporated, and was one of a number that formed the Methodist church of that city. She was born in South Carolina in 1800, and married Col. Head in Hopkinsville, Ky., moving to Mississippi in 1817, After Col. Head’s death, she married Col. H. D. Robertson, and lived near Queen’s Hill, this county,until his death. Afterwards, she lived on the old home place, and about six years ago went to Bolton, becoming a member of the family of her nephew, H. C. Sharkey. Two years ago she went to Texas to be with her daughter, Mrs. C.M. Birdsong, formerly of this county, where she died at the ripe old age of 90 years.
