Stirling K. White died suddenly at his residence, 721 N. Pearl street at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday. He was born at Belton, Texas, Feb. 10, 1870, being the son of the late Captain Benjamin S. White, and the late Mrs. Mary Ann Fairchild White. Deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ola Stevens White; three daughters, Miss Ola White and Miss Marguerite White and Mrs. Hugh B. Gillespie of Raymond, Miss; one sister, Mrs. Edward Conger of San Francisco, Cal.,: two nephews, William L. White and John T. White, and one niece, Mrs. Amanda White Phipps. Mr. White was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Raymond, Miss. He lived in New Orleans a number of years and came to make his home in Natchez in 1923. Mr. White was the oldest passenger conductor in the Vicksburg division, with 52 years seniority. Services will be held at Foster’s Funeral home at nine o’clock this morning. with Rev. C. A. Schultz and Rev. Joseph Kuehnle officiating. The remains will be taken to Raymond to the residence of his daughter. Mrs. Hugh Gillespie, where funeral services will be held at 4:30 this afternoon. Interment will be in the family plot in the Raymond cemetery.
