Walton There is another grave with a brick vault, which has caved in, but no inscription. It is probably the grave of Mary A. Walton, wife of Wm. Land and dau of Alsey Steele Olive, who married 1st Benton Walton. It is said that the mother spent so much time weeping on the grave of her dau. Mary, that she became ill and died of pneumonia.(Notes by Mrs. John H. McBee, Greenwood, Miss Mar 14, 1923) This cemetery has some really heavy markers, but most have been toppled by catle grazing in the cemetery.
