Raymond, Miss.

My dear Mr. Spengler:

  My father Rev. Preston Cooper, was fifty two years old
when he died.  I was an infant when he passed away.  Date
of death Aug. 1, 1858.
  The grave is in the cemetery of Benton, Yazoo County,
Miss.
  Few children ever had a nobler or better father.
  With kindest regards,

                                         President.
