Harris This Indenture made and entered into this the twenty Sixty day of December One Thousand Eight hundred and Sixty Three between J. R. Gilmore (attorney for the heirs of Andrew Davidson Decd) of the first part and W. A. Harris of the Second part all of the county of Itawamba and State of Mississippi: Witnesseth the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of 160.00 the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath the day of the date hereof bargained sold and conveyed unto the party of the second part a certain tract of Land known and designated as the N. E. 1/4 of S5 of Township Eleven of Range Ten E and the said J. R. Gilmore on the part of the said heirs of Andrew Davison Dcd agrees with the said W. A. Harris his heirs and assigns to forever warrant and defend the above described tract of land unto to [sic] them from the claim of all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above written. J. R. Gilmore Attorney for the heirs of Andrew Davidson Decd The State of Mississippi} Before me A. P. Shannon an Itawamba County} acting Justice of the Peace in and for said County and State aforesaid personally came J. R. Gilmore attorney for the heirs of Andrew Davison Decd whose name appears to the foregoing Deed and acknowledged that he Signed Sealed and delivered the same to answer all the purposes therein set forth. Given under my hand and seal the December 26th 1863. A. P. Shannon [Seal] Justice of the Peace The State of Mississippi} I Eli Phillips Clerk of the Itawamba County} Probate Court for said county do hereby certify that the above Deed was filed in my office for Record on the 15th Day of February 1864 and that the Same has been duly recorded on Deed Record Book No 17 on page 362.
