Hester The State of Mississippi} Know all men by these Monroe County} presents that I H. B. Gillespie for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Twenty & 67/100 Dollars to me in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day bargained sold and delivered and by these presents do bargain sell convey and deliver unto J. H. Hester of Monroe County & State aforesaid all my Right title and interest in and to the following tract or parcel of Land in the county of Itawamba and State aforesaid known as the South East quarter of Section No 19 Township 11 Range 8 East to have to hold the same together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to the only proper use of him the said J. H. Hester his heirs and assigns forever and I the said H. B. Gillespie will forever warrant and defend the title to the above described Land against me the said Gillespie my heirs and assigns and against the Lawful claims of Every person or persons whatever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my seal this June 2nd 1859. H. B. Gillespie [seal] The State of Mississippi} Before me E. H. Wiygul an acting Itawamba County} Justice of the Peace and for said county this day personally came H. B. Gillespie whose name appears to the within and foregoing Deed of conveyance and acknowledged that he signed sealed and delivered the same in the day and date it bears for the use and purpose therein contained and Expressed. Given under my hand and seal this the 2nd day of May 1859. E. H.
