Itawamba County
Know all men by these presents that for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten dollars to me in hand paid by Joseph A. Morrison I Joseph Woodruff
of the County of Itawamba and State of Mississippi have sold and conveyed
and quit claim and by these presents do sell convey and quit claim unto
the aforesaid Joseph A. Morrison all my right title and Interest in & to
the following Described tracts or parcels of Land viz South West quarter
of SW 1/4 of Section Fourteen (14) Town Eight (8) Range Six (6) East in
aforesaid county and State being the same Lands Con=veyed by me to Auditor
of Public Accounts and dated 23 March 1853 In testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand & seal 1st day of March
1857.

Personally appeared before me R. Wiggle, an acting Justice of Peace in
and for said County personally came Jo. Woodruff whose name is the within
and foregoing Deed quit claim Deed and acknowledged that he assigned the
same for the purposes therein contained
Given under my hand and the seal August 11th 1857

I Wm H. Moore Clerk of the Probate Court of said County do hereby Cer=tify
that the above and foregoing deed was filed in my office for Record on
the 6th day of November AD 1857 and that the same together with the
certificate of acknowl=edgement has been duly Recorded in Deed Record
Book No 13 & pages 274 & 275 Given under my hand and the seal of said Court at office
in Fulton this 6th day of November AD 1857
