Itawamba County Register
The State of Mississippi; to any licensed minister of Itawamba County; Judge 
of said State Judge and Justice of the Peace or officer of said county 
authorized to celebrate Marriage.
Greetings. You are hereby licensed to celebrate the rites of matrimony between 
Rufus K. Bailey and Delia Oma Farrar. You will return into the Probate court 
of said county a certificate here on the Solemnization thereof within six 
months thereafter.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto let my hand and affixed the seal of said 
court at office in Fulton this the 25th day of May 1864.

In virtue hereof of the rites of matrimony between Refus K. Bailey and Delia 
Oma Farrar were duly celebrated by me the 25th day of May 1864.

This photocopy of the record was sent to me by the State of Mississippi, Dept. 
of Archives and History.
Rufus and Delia ended up in Itasca, Texas after 1874, with many descendants in 
that town.
