When you reach the Jackson/George County Line, there will be a road to your left called Old Americus road. The road is just before you enter George County. Take this left hand exit and go 2 miles. As you near the end of this 2 mile trip on your right you will see a road on your right "Cedar Creek Estates", do not turn. The cemetery will only be another .1 tenth of a mile on your left. You will need to park on the side of the road (south), walk across the road (north) and if you will look at the power line poles. Enter the woods 1/2 way between the second and third pole after the Cedar Creek turn off. The cemetery will be about 30 yards strait out into the woods. The cemetery is an old family one, at present Mr. C.G. Steede is trying to purchase the small partial of land where the cemetery is and a small right of way to it. There are only 7 graves in the cemetery, however outside the fence are the graves of two unknown people, I was told they were not family members of the Steedes , just a couple that needed a place to be buried, no permanent markers were placed on these two graves.. I walked the cemetery on the 21st of December 2007 with the help of Mr. C.G. Steede, information was taken from headstone inscriptions, and from information given me by Mr. Steede.
