Kinsey, 57, of Sumrall, Miss., died Sept. 1, 2007. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ina Mae Kinsey, and a brother, William C. Kinsey. Burial will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.Honor Corinne Slider, 81, of Greene County, Miss., died September 1, 2007, in Greene County. Mrs. Slider was born November 29, 1925 in Laurel, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver C. and Sarah Ward; and her husband, Donald S. Slider. Burial will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley, Miss. Walter M. Trehern, 90, passed away September 1, 2007. His parents David and Amelia Trehern preceded him in death. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula. James Edwin Wells Sr., of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Sept. 1, 2007, in Mobile, Ala. He was born June 11, 1921. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps during World War II, serving in Europe as a flight engineer and gunner on a B- 24 bomber. Edwin was captured by Germans after being shot down over France in June 1944 and a prisoner of war for the remainder of the war. Mr. Wells was decorated on his return to the United States with a Bronze Star, an American Theater Ribbon, an Air Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and later the Prisoner of War Medal. He was a faithful member of the Kreole United Methodist Church for many years and was recently a member of the Dantzler Memorial Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Griffin Cemetery in Moss Point with full military honors given at graveside. Sept 2 Samuel Wilson Duvall, 79, died on Sunday, September 2, 2007. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Faye. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.Gwendolyn Diane Tench Hronek, 61, of Gautier, Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007. She is preceded in death by her daughter Becca Hronek-Stacy; and her parents, Leonard and Willene Tench. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2006, with Brother Larry McVeay of Bethel Missionary Baptist Chruch in Gautier officiating. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens. Khaliah Alyssa Magee, 1 month and 19 days old. Khaliah was born July 13, 2007, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss. She departed this life on Sept. 2, 2007. Mrs. Rhoda Bell (Pannell) Whisenant, 89, born on Oct. 26, 1917, in Union County, Miss., went home to the Lord on Sept. 2, 2007, at Benndale Personal Care Home, Benndale, Miss. She was preceded in death by her late husband, H.H. (Whiz) Whisenant, son, Wilburn H. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Pascagoula. Mrs. Hamilton is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Ernest Trehern and Caroline Isabelle Trehern. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Pascagoula. James Michael Wallace, 49, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, in Moss Point, Miss. Mr. Wallace was born March 27, 1958, in Moss Point. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theron and Sally Lindsey and a grandfather, A.H. Greenough. Arlene and husband, Paul were the owners of Allman's Restaurant in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ellen McLaughlin; husband of 61 years, Paul William Allman; two sons, Victor Wayne and Paul William Allman; two brothers, Arnold and Robert McLauglin. He played football at Moss Point High School when they won the state championship. He then went on to play football at Delta State University. Miller Sr. She was a homemaker and loved camping, traveling and watching the Atlanta Braves and New Orleans Saints. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Sharkey County, Miss. Mr. Frank Joseph Klemm, a resident of Gautier, Miss., and former resident of New Orleans, La., died peacefully at his stepson's residence in Gautier on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at the age of 81. He was the former owner/operator of Frank J. Klemm Limousine Service of New Orleans. Mr. Klemm was preceded in death by his brother, Salvador Frank Klemm; his father, Frank Peter Klemm; his mother, Cora Agnes Tedesco Klemm; and his wife, Dorothy "Pat" Curtis Klemm. Patsy Ann Capps Lidgard, 71, of Ocean Springs, Miss., passed to her final home with God on Sept. 14, 2007. Patsy was born in Mobile County on Dec. 26, 1935. She lived in Whistler, Ala., until she met her soon to be husband, Richard (Dick) Lidgard in 1955. Patsy was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon O. Capps of Whistler. She was also predeceased by her brother, Cecil Capps and sister, Joy. Services will be conducted at Wesley United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007. Sept 16 Ronnie Carroll Ford , 60, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 15, 2007, in Lucedale. Mr. Ford was born on January 5, 1947, in Bessemer, Ala. He was retired tool room foreman with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. He served in the United States Air Force and attended Community of Christ Church in Escatawpa, Miss. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben C. Ford and nephew Jeremy E. McQueen. Burial will follow in the Community of Christ Church cemetery in Escatawpa, Miss. Mr. George Berry Jr. passed away on Sept. 16, 2007, at the age of 73. RICHARD TIMOTHY DICKERSON, 60, of Lucedale, Miss., died Sept. 19, 2007. Sept 20 Margaret Charlene Hall, 83, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at Mercy Medical in Daphne, Ala., following complications from a stroke suffered in June 2007. Margaret was born in Birmingham, Ala., on Feb. 9, 1924. She grew up in Cruger, Miss. Sh married Hubert Armistead Hall, who was in the Army Air Corps, and they traveled around the world for the next twenty years. They remained together until his death in 2000. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Armistead Hall and a daughter, Linda Kay Hall Gelberman. Jim Cook was born on Sept. 29, 1951, in Potsdam, NY. He retired from Chevron, and enjoyed being a Pastor, woodworking, fishing and being with his family. Rev. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert C. Martin; a daughter, Connie Lurlean Martin; her mother, Lurlean Webb; her father, J.C. Webb; and stepmother, Edna Carter Webb. Graveside services and interment of Mrs. Martin and ashes of her late husband Robert C. Martin will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs, Miss. Kenneth Lee Strunk, 78, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.Mr. Strunk was a resident of the Gulf Coast since 1975. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War, serving first in the Marine Corps and then 18 years in the Navy on submarines, which included duties on the first nuclear submarine. He ended his 22 years of military service as a CWO2 in the Army. Mr. Strunk was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Thelma Strunk, brother, J.W. Strunk, and granddaughter, Heather Strunk. Sept 22 Mrs. Loryce Boykin Hathcock, 80, of Moss Point, Miss. died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 14, 1927, in Sharkey County, Miss. William "Bill" Anson Ballow Jr., 90, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at George Regional Medical Center, Lucedale, Miss. Patricia Idilene Ryan Poole, 57, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, at her home in the Franklin Creek Community of Jackson County. Sept 27 Mr. William O'Neal Nettles Sr., 71, a resident of Moss Point, Miss., slipped into eternal rest on September 27, 2007, at Singing River Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deacon Woodrow Nettles and Mrs. Ollie Lee Nettles of Beatrice, Ala.; both sons, infant. Edward Lavoyd Nettles and Staff Sgt. Sept 28 Msgt. James Donovan Gautier, Jr., age 88, of Ocean Springs, Miss. died Sept. 28, 2007, in Collins, Miss. He was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Kreole, Miss. Mr. Gautier was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mattie Gautier; a sister, Mary Agnes Gautier, and son-in-law, Robert T. Mills. Mr. Gautier served during World War II and the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 21 years of dedicated service. During WWII, he was captured and was a POW for 312 years. He survived the infamous Bataan Death March. After returning to civilian life, he became involved with the Civil Air Patrol and retired as a Lt. Commander. Later in his life, he co-authored a book "I Came Back From Bataan" with Robert Whitmore. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Gautier, Masonic Lodge No. 202, Eastern Star No. 37, a life member of V.F.W. Post 3373, and the American Legion of Pascagoula. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2007, from First United Methodist Church of Gautier with Rev. Ron Stanley and Rev. M.L. McCormick officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ocean Springs, Miss. with full Military honors at the graveside. Active pallbearers will be Mickey Baxter, Michael Baxter, Mitch Cirlot, Claude "Diego" Stauter and Sam Stauter. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the 27th Bomb Group. Bobby McDowell, 49, of Bay Saint Louis, Miss., died Sept. 28, 2007. Interment will be held at Lily Grove Cemetery, Lucedale. Sept 29 Kenneth K. Northeimer, Sr., 90, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Essa Flory Hospice Center. He was born on Aug. 13, 1917 in Eagle, Chester County. His father was J. Charles Northeimer and his mother was Sarah Keenen Northeimer. He was the last of a family of four brothers and seven sisters. His funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 221 E. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557.
